What are mouse gestures?

A mouse gesture is a way of combining mouse cursor movements and clicks that our extension recognizes as a deliberate navigation command. With CrxMouse gestures, your Google Chrome browser will respond to your preferred mouse gestures, giving you the personalized experience you enjoy.

How does it work?

CrxMouse allows you to program specific mouse gestures to trigger a wide variety of actions on Google Chrome. You can choose from pre-existing mouse gestures or create your own.

What gestures can I use?

There are many gestures you can program using either mouse clicks, mouse movements, or a combination of both. Therefore, you have a wide variety of available gestures to choose from, according to your preference. After installing the extension, feel free to check out some popular examples via the “Mouse Gestures” section in the CrxMouse settings.

How do I use CrxMouse?

This extension is very easy to use. Simply configure the gesture and action you’d like to trigger in the Settings page of the extension and you’re good to go. Feel free to check out the demo on our homepage.

What is Super Drag?

Super Drag allows you to select text on Chrome and drag only the selected text to a different tab/window/text line.

What are the Scrolling options on CrxMouse?

On the extension Settings menu, you’ll be able to find advanced scrolling options, allowing you to control your scrolling speed, smoothness, directions, and more.

Can I customize the look and feel of the extension?

Yes you can! Head over to the “Mouse Gestures” tab to control if/how your mouse track will appear, control the look of your mouse track and customize when and how will the actions you perform show up on the screen.

• Can I add specific sites to a blacklist?

Yep! You can add specific websites to a blacklist. Your CrxMouse gestures will NOT work on these websites.

Can I add certain gestures to a whitelist?

Yes, for every mouse gesture you define, you can find the “Show Whitelist” button below. Click on this button to expand the whitelist box for this specific gesture. Whitelisting a gesture means that this specific gesture will work ONLY on these specific sites.

Can I Export/Import my configurations?

YES! We’ve added the option to import your existing CrxMouse configurations OR export your current settings. All you have to do is head to “Advanced Settings” and Import/Export should appear in the top.

Are my gestures synced across different desktop devices?

Yes they are! As long as you’re using the same Google account on Google Chrome, and have the CrxMouse extension installed, you should be able to use the same exact gestures and settings.
